When are you open?
The Growers Shop is open all week with the team in the shop poised to assist you Monday to Saturday. The office team work Monday to Friday.

Thursday: 09:00 – 17:00
Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 09:00 – 16:00
Sunday: Closed

It should be noted that public and Bank Holidays may mean that The Growers Shop is closed during the week to accomodate. For further information call 0116 284 1091 for more information about our opening and closing times. Any alterations to shop opening times will be displayed on our social media profiles, while are team are available around the clock by emailing info@thegrowersshop.co.uk.

Where are you based?
The Growers Shop is set in Whetstone, Leicestershire. We are just a stone’s throw from the thriving Fosse Shopping Park, and just minutes away from the M1 and M69 motorways. We are lucky to enjoy some fantastic transport links to areas across the country, which allows us to help and cater for clients from all different walks of life, whether they’re locally based or or live further afield. You can find The Growers Shop near the Whetstone Recycling and Household Waste Site.

When do you deliver?
All orders placed between Monday and Friday are dispatched within 24-48 hours. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed the following Monday, and any orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be processed on the next available working day. Christmas periods may also affect shipping times (contact The Growers Shop team by ringing 0116 284 1091 for further details regarding shipping). We use UK Mail as our courier, and parcels will be delivered using their “Next Day” service.

If you are not available to receive when an attempted delivery is made, then the couriers may leave your parcel with a neighbour and will also leave a calling card with instructions on how to collect from a depot should a neighbour not be available.

You can either visit their help page https://www.ukmail.com/need-help to find your local depot, or contact us directly, where a member of the team will be happy to help.

I've missed my delivery slot, what should I do?
We understand that life gets in the way sometimes! If you are unfortunately unable to receive your order after several attempts have been made, the parcel will be returned to us at The Growers Shop. We will then have to charge an additional fee for re-delivery to you. If you are unable to receive a delivery from The Growers Shop team, you are more than welcome to come into our shop and collect. You may also contact info@thegrowersshop.co.uk to arrange a better time for either delivery or collection.
What do you charge for shipping?
For all UK Mainland deliveries, we use UK Mail as our courier. Delivery prices will vary depending on the weight and size of the selected item of purchase. For all deliveries outside of the UK, we use UK Mail, but additional surcharges will need be applied as well as the original postage price. A delivery charge of £15.99 will be applied to the following postcodes:

What payment methods do you accept?
At present we accept all major debit and credit cards, with the exception of American Express. We are also happy to accept Paypal payments with orders made online. Here The Growers Shop operates as an “acquirer”, performing payment processing for online vendors, auction sites and other commercial users. The Growers Shop does not have the facility to accept cheques.
